The Christmas Holiday has come and gone. We celebrated with my family the weekend before Christmas, had our little family Christmas with the Cabbage on Christmas Eve morning, and that night I took down all of the holiday decorations except for the menorah. I think everyone was happy with the gifts they were given. The Cabbage had a great time at the playground in The Gathering Place. Michael and I had a wonderful time visiting with Talaura in Stillwater. Oh boy, that was some much needed laughter. One of my Christmas presents from Michael was to see Little Women on Christmas day. No matter how many times I’ve seen the other movies and read the book, I still sob like a baby when poor Beth dies. I’m tearing up right now typing about it. Then we spent Christmas evening with Michael’s Moms. Thursday, I barely left the couch. There were two days this week where I never put on a bra.
It was glorious.
Now it’s time to get ready for the start of a whole new year. Time is so fucking stupid.
Let’s pause and take a look back at the greatness that was 2019.
